From Being Somebody to Being Anybody
I was more isolated when I was somebody than I am being anybody. I’m grateful that things in my life precipitated this transition. I’m also grateful that I came to it when I did. I’ll explain shortly what I mean by this.
Now that I’m in my seventies, my sense of what success means has shifted to what spirit calls me to be in this world. This is in contrast to earlier years, when I was dedicated to achievement and accumulating success, accomplishments, experiences and all the trappings. Now is the time to reap the harvest of a life well spent to find the deeper meaning in what I can offer in return.
